What is the standard fees?

Positive Perceptions Psychology offers services at a fee that are significantly below the recommended rate by the Australian Psychological Society. Please call or email us for more information.

Are you NDIS Register?

Yes, we are an NDIS approved service provider.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please email or call with at least 48 hours before the appointment schedule, otherwise you will be charged the full cost of the session. Please note that the Medicare rebate is not available for cancellation fees.

What rebates are available?

If you are referred under a mental health care plan by your GP then you are entitled to a Medicare rebate. The Medicare rebate is $86.15 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The split of 10 sessions is 6+4 which means after 6 sessions you will be reviewed by your GP and if appropriate he will then suggest the eligibility of next 4 sessions.

PRIVATE Health Fund: You may receive a rebate by your private health fund depending on the level of your cover. Some health funds may cover some of the fee. Speak to your health fund to see if you are covered. You are not allowed to claim both rebates, you can either claim Medicare rebate or Private health fund rebate.
